Incredible Hulk #181
Incredible Hulk #181 is viewed as the first full appearance of the one of the most popular characters of the modern age Wolverine. He also appeared in cameo in the previous issue, but #181 features him in full as well as on the cover. Wolverine is introduced during an encounter between the Hulk and the Wendigo creature. Wolverine later becomes one of the new X-men lineup and quickly takes center stage as the most popular character.
